Katie began her career in commercial color consulting as a part-time passion project in 2007. Backed by her MBA and nearly two decades of industry experience, she has grown Color Works into a multi-million-dollar commercial design firm serving clients in more than 20 states nationwide.
Today, her fully remote team of experts helps deliver process-driven, ROI-focused design solutions—and Katie now uses that same proven business framework to help other designers scale.
Renowned for her business acumen, Katie scaled her design firm 1,500% in one year and now teaches designers how to achieve their own 7-figure growth.
She’s equally known for her passion for teaching—having spent 18 years as a graduate and undergraduate instructor—her devotion to her two young daughters, and her unwavering commitment to empowering women to build profitable, purpose-driven businesses.
